Objectives of the Course

The main aim of this course is to equip students with the fundamental principles, methods, and techniques of scientific research, enabling them to design, conduct, analyze, and ethically report qualified studies in the field of recreation.

Course Content

In this course, the specific structure of health sciences will be explained and the stages such as collecting and compiling the data necessary for a scientific study in this field, and finally the writing of the data will be explained and information will be given about the activities that constitute the infrastructure of scientific studies.

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the basic concepts, types, and ethical principles of scientific research.
2.Formulates a research question related to the field of recreation and determines the appropriate research method.
3.Compares quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques and selects appropriate tools based on the research purpose.
4.Analyzes collected data, interprets the findings, and prepares a research report.
5.Evaluates scientific research from a critical perspective and develops suggestions that contribute to the field.
