The aim of this course is to introduce students to the types, purposes, planning principles, and management processes of facilities and equipment used in recreational areas. It also aims to provide knowledge on safe and sustainable use and to enhance students' competencies in this field through practical examples.
The course covers the classification of recreational facilities, design principles, selection and use of equipment, maintenance and safety measures, facility management, environmental sustainability, and case studies. Practical knowledge will be provided through the examination of public and private sector facility examples.
