Objectives of the Course

The importance of thinking in education, teaching methods and techniques to understand how to develop thinking skills and to gain the ability to use related techniques.

Course Content

Introduction to critical thinking and decision making. The Basic Concepts Of Critical Thinking. Critical Thinking Skills. Defining and analyzing the problem. Asking The Right Questions. Fallacies. Analysis Of Misconceptions. Proof Obligation. Language and Pitfalls. Scientific and reason-based reasoning. Critical thinking and decision making about statistics. Analytical Decision Making Techniques. The Ethical Dimensions Of Decision Making.
