Objectives of the Course

To give the informations to students about proteins, carbohydrates, fats, enzymes, hormones, vitamins, and which diseases occur in their deficiency..

Course Content

The foundation stones of the organism and metabolisms, enzymes, hormones, vitamins and minerals, nucleotides metabolism, molecular aspects of hereditary diseases, laboratory tests.

1.Have information foundation stones of the organism such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and fats and their metabolisms
2.Understand the importance of enzymes, hormones, vitamins and minerals.
3.Diseases caused by these deficiencies are understood.
4.Describe the nucleotides metabolism, some hereditary diseases aiming at molecular aspects
5.May interpret kidney, liver function tests, hepatitis tests etc.
