Objectives of the Course

The aim is t to help students to understand the concepts and methods of the general economy and the tourism economy,and to improve their knowledge and skill levels and their talents in analysis and synthesis.

Course Content

Monetary and non-economic effects of tourism, tourism supply and tourism demand, tourism supply and demand analysis, the relationship between tourism, inflation and devaluation.

1.To be able to understand the basic concepts related to the economy and the tourism economy.
2.To be able to understand and explain monetary and non-monetary effects of tourism.
3.To be able to analyze the events occurring in the industry.
4.To be able to define and express how devaluation and inflation affect tourism, and have knowledge what should be done to minimize the negative effect.
5.To be able to analyse tourism demand and to arise consciousness on the necessity of how to develop products according to demand.
6.To be able to arise consciousness on how to follow general aptitude of international tourism movement.
