Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is tell (explain) of students written and verbal their wishes and demands with their learned German language knowledge after finish of their studies in tourism sector.

Course Content

The objective of this course is teaching of basic German language which they need during their graduate studies and during their works after their studies so that the students can express after their studies in German language what they want.

1.Comprehends simple German grammar.
2. Learns simple German speech patterns.
3. Understands when spoken at normal speed.
4.Speaks German in simple way.
5. Expresses his/her thoughts by using short sentences.
6.Grammatically gets enough knowledge about indefinite pronouns, personal pronouns, accusative, dative, and genitive form of personal pronouns, prepositions, interrogative pronouns, prepositions of direction.
7. Uses the subjects he/ she learned in dialogues exercises and texts for the tourism section.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Information will be given about the aim, limitations and content of the course, general review
Week 2 - Theoretical
Dialogues about shopping, gift, giving suggestions, request and demand expression, making sentences in accusative and dative form.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Sending invitation- accusative and dative personal pronouns, graded adjectives, demonstrative pronouns in accusative form
Week 4 - Theoretical
Knowing German language and culture, biographic and geographic information
Week 5 - Theoretical
The definite article and possesive construction in genitive form, study about size, criteria, and numbers, prepositions in accusative
Week 6 - Theoretical
Describing external appearance and personality, subjective statement, conjugation of adjectives
Week 7 - Theoretical
Article words: (dieser,mancher, jeder, alle)
Week 8 - Theoretical
A brief review of lessons learned and exercises to support
