Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to learn the general geographical features of Turkey, it is the provision of Anatolian history and prehistory in the living civilization based on the recognition and regions have information for students of tourist and geographical data on the province.

Course Content

General geography of Turkey, archaeological sites and the first civilizations in Anatolia, on the basis of the historical and touristic city Examination of data.

Learning Outcomes
1. Turkey will have information about the general geography.
2. Have information about the prehistoric periods of Anatolia and the periodical characteristics of these periods.
3. Gains knowledge of the geographical locations of the first civilizations established in Anatolia (Assyrian, Hittite, Phrygian, Urartu, Lydia, Persia, Ion) and basic historical data of these civilizations.
4.Gains knowledge about Hellenistic and Roman periods.
5.Gains knowledge of the Seljuk and Ottoman periods.
6.Have knowledge about historical and touristic values ??in the provinces of Aegean Region.
7. Have knowledge about historical and touristic values ??in the provinces of Mediterranean Region.
