Objectives of the Course

To provide the students with the knowledge, skills and other competencies required by the operations and sales departments where the tour management function is performed in travel agencies.

Course Content

To evaluate the five main functions of management, planning, organization, orientation, coordination and supervision in terms of tour management processes.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Students learn the concept and importance of tour management and professional evaluation.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Students will have information about the staff in tour management.
Week 3 - Theoretical
Students learn tour types.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Students learn the preparations for opening the season in single center tours.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Students learn the operations in the operation process.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Students will have information about season closure preparations, knowledge book and information boards.
Week 7 - Theoretical
Students learn Complaint management and rare events during the tour season.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Students learn the operation of the meeting groups.
Week 9 - Theoretical
Students learn pre-tour preparations in multi-centered tours.
Week 10 - Theoretical
Students learn the work and operations during the tour.
Week 11 - Theoretical
Students learn about the departure and post-tour procedures at the end of the tour.
