Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is analysis and discussion of solutions to social, economic, legal, financial, educational problems encountered in the tourism sector in Turkey.

Week 1 - Theoretical
Meet with students, and give information about the processing and aim of the course and distribution of subjects
Week 2 - Theoretical
Introduction of the sample report and sample presentation
Week 3 - Theoretical
Purpose and Target Audience of the Presentation: The purpose of the presentation, analysis of the target audience and shaping the presentation accordingly.
Week 4 - Theoretical
Presentation Types: Informative, persuasive, educational and entertaining presentations.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Topic Selection and Research: Determining the topic, conducting research and gathering information.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Communication Skills: Effective use of body language, eye contact, tone and speed of voice.
Week 7 - Theoretical
Effective Speaking: Clear and understandable speech, stress and intonation, interaction with the listener.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Time Management: Effective use of presentation time, time control techniques.
