Objectives of the Course

This course aims to introduce students to notion of supply chain inventory management and make students adopt the macro changes and perform an effective inventory management of information systems.

Course Content

Purchasing, procurement functionality, different approaches in the field of purchasing systems, relationships with suppliers and concepts related to systems.

1.Diagnose the real problems, takes part in social responsibility projects and activities related to project management solutions and solve encountered problems in practice through experience in teamwork with industry associations.
2.Students come up with creative solutions in logistics and supply chain process problems which can be confronted in academic and professional life
3.To be able to understand the purpose of production planning and control and its contribution to industrial engineering career
4.To develop solution methods by analyzing problems related to production planning and control
5.Understand sophisticated decision chains, system components, component relationships and planning hierarchy
