The aim of the Database Management Systems course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to define the concepts of databases and database management systems, explain the functions of database management systems, perform the steps in creating a database, and create and manage databases using one of the current database management system software programs (Microsoft Access, MySQL, etc.).
