Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course to teach recent molecular diagnosis and identification methods used in agricultural biotechnology with its applications.

Course Content

Technologies used for molecular diagnosis and identification in plant and animals; DNA based methods, PCR, RFLP, RAPD, DGGE, TGGE, Sanger and new generation DNA sequence analysis, Real time PCR, Microarray, Protein based methods, Western blotting, Protein chips, ELISA, RIA, Immunoprecipitation, Hybridoma.
