Objectives of the Course

Explaining the main steps and techniques of the main products produced in industry, the chemical and biochemical events that occur in these steps, and comparing, scaling and evaluating the biotechnological processes to be substituted

Importance and principles of industrial biotechnology, recombinant DNA technology, proteins as biotechnology products, protein production and purification, industrial microorganisms, microbial enzymes, fuels and industrial chemicals, cheese, yogurt, wine, vinegar, beer, fruit juice technology
