Objectives of the Course

In this course, it is aimed to give general information about enzymes, to give information about the structure, production and purification of enzymes, to understand the different properties of enzymes and to give information about their use in industry

Course Content

Introduction of enzymes and their use in history, classification of enzymes, enzyme kinetics, coenzymes, enzyme activity, activity determination methods, factors affecting enzyme activity, allosteric enzymes, industrial enzymes, enzyme production and purification, immobilized enzymes
