Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to emphasize the importance and conservation strategies of endemic and rare plant species and to demonstrate that the protection and use of genetic resources is critical for future agriculture and food security and its importance in terms of plant breeding. Therefore, information will be given about the collection, preservation and documentation of plant materials. Information will also be given about biotechnological applications and transgenic plants.
