Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to introduce the basic features of the Matlab programming language and to make example computer applications related to Signals and Systems. Students are expected to have knowledge about signal generation and processing in computer environment, various system identification methods, processing of signals in time and frequency domain and filtering, and to make computer applications.

Course Content

Matlab expressions, variables, constants, arrays, functions, vector and matrix operations with Matlab, graphical user interface (GUI) design, signal generation and processing with Matlab, various system definition methods in Matlab, processing of signals in time and frequency domain in Matlab , filtering applications.
