Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamentals of very large scale integrated (VLSI) systems. In this context, subjects including physical implementation of electronics devices, integrated circuit (IC) design processes and analog integrated circuit layout will be covered.

Course Content

Design, layout, and testing of VLSI circuits for complex digital systems. Cell-based hierarchical design, and algorithmic aspects of VLSI CAD tools
