The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamentals of very large scale integrated (VLSI) systems. In this context, subjects including physical implementation of electronics devices, integrated circuit (IC) design processes and analog integrated circuit layout will be covered.
Design, layout, and testing of VLSI circuits for complex digital systems. Cell-based hierarchical design, and algorithmic aspects of VLSI CAD tools
| 1. | To understand the basics of VLSI systems. |
| 2. | To have knowledge on IC fabrication technologies. |
| 3. | To be able to realize CMOS IC design |
| 4. | To learn hardware description languages (HDL) |
| 5. | To have knowledge about digital IC and FPGA based design |
