There is formal teaching class in the department of Tourism Management. Every year approximately 30 new students attend this department. The number of students in the department is around 450. Students graduating from the department get important positions in the tourism sector. In the department, Erasmus and Farabi programs are operating precisely. Also, Bologna program has been active since 2011.

Accommodation Business Department was foundated in 2004 and has been continued since then. It's name has changed as Tourism Management in 2020. The academic staff of the school of tourism business and hotel was divided independently according to departments and was confirmed by the board of higher education in 2012.

The mission of the school is to educate the candidates of manager department who have ethical values, know the structure and mechanism of accommodation industry well, is expert in his/her field, and manage the future of accommodation industry, have socially powerful and self-confidence, get new expansions for the accommodation businesses and accommodation industry and is able to conduct scientific researches in tourism industry in accordance with accommodation needs.

To sustain and develop the quality of accommodation business department accepted by academics and accommodation industry with the scientific studies and graduate students.

To educate the students as the candidates of professional managers needed for managing the accommodation establishments in the tourism industry with the modern knowledge and practises and to give the students to reach the quality of the future’s conscious members of the profession.

The school of tourism business and hotel has 5 new blocks of buildings. Also, there are 2 blocks which are still in construction. In the new building, There are 12 classes for theoretical courses which have smartboards and capacity for 70 students and 1 laboratory for food and beverage service and practice, 1 kitchen laboratory for catering, 2 laboratory for computer uses. In the school, there are 1 dining hall, 1 canteen and 1 library.
