Objectives of the Course

Providing the basic concepts of web design and internet technologies, web-based application development methods, web-based application development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and tools (Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash), a basic level of skills in the use and design of server-side dynamic web pages gain.

Personal and corporate web sites, techniques for making effective use of visual design techniques.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents

Week 1 - Theoretical

The basic concepts of Internet technologies, Web design principles, methods.

Week 2 - Theoretical

Html tags, structure, properties of the basic features of HTML editor programs to use as an interface, the basic features of HTML pages

Week 3 - Theoretical

Basic HTML tags, text formatting, tags, lists (such as bullets, numbering), links, relative addressing, images, pictures, maps, pictures, links.

Week 4 - Theoretical

Basic graphics concepts (resolution, pixel depth, color, etc.), main features of graphic editor programs, menus, tools panel, effects, layers, graphic design, to export images, optimize pictures.

Week 5 - Theoretical

Html tags and table creation, editing, creating forms, the basic characteristics of form elements, frames.

Week 6 - Theoretical

Html extensions (sound, video, flash, java and other plugins), Dynamic (client side) features of HTML pages, Javascript basic properties.

Week 7 - Theoretical

The general structure of javascript, variable declarations, operators, looping structures, decision structures, subroutine structure, object use, the basic objects used in page design.

Week 8 - Theoretical

CSSin features, general structure, identification methods, according to the label cssler html, style sheets used in the basic (background, border, etc.), the layer structure.

Week 9 - Intermediate Exam

Midterm Exam

Week 10 - Theoretical

Html, CSS and JavaScript client-side dynamic web pages with the layer structure and the various menus with the use of javascript (accordion menus, pop-up menu, etc.) to create, control form elements using javascript.

Week 11 - Theoretical

Drop-down menu design with the graphics editor application program, a simple button design, images, map creation, slicing.

Week 12 - Theoretical

The concept of animation, interactive animation, the basic characteristics of preparation programs, the concept of timeline, drawing tools.

Week 13 - Theoretical

Design programs to create animations with interactive buttons, animation, audio and video insertion, the use of Action Script.

Week 14 - Theoretical

Server-side dynamic programming, basic concepts, web servers, server-side dynamic programming language (PHP), the overall structure, properties, variable declarations, operators, looping structures, decision structures, subroutine structure, basic functions.
