Objectives of the Course

To understand communication and its elements, to emphasize the differences between verbal, nonverbal, and written communication types; to learn the qualities a good speaker should have, and to highlight the importance of communication and body language in tourist guiding.

Course Content

In the lesson, the focus will be on interpersonal communication primarily, as well as verbal and nonverbal communication, differences in body language, and communication skills related to speaking and listening.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to identify the various features of the factors in communication such as the source, the receiver, the message.
2.To be able to recognize the features that must be obtained by the source and receiver for a proper communication
3.To have knowledge about the skills to speak in front of people.
4.Understands the importance of communication in the profession of tourist guiding
5.Understands body language gestures and their meanings.
6.Recognizes body language differences at intercultural communication.
