Week 1 - Theoretical
General evaluation will be made about tourist guidance from past to present
Week 2 - Theoretical
Tourist Guiding Law Act. No. 6326 and Regulation will be discussed
Week 3 - Theoretical
Student will be asked to determine their term paper topics on one of the problems that tourist guide profession faces after giving information about the problem-solving steps (defining the problem, collecting and analyzing data to solve the problem, creating alternative solutions, making evaluation between alternatives, choosing the best solution and reviewing the results)
Week 4 - Theoretical
Information will be given about the “legal” problems faced by tourist guides and related literature will be examined
Week 5 - Theoretical
Information will be given about “educational” problems that tourist guide profession faces, and related literature will be discussed
Week 6 - Theoretical
Information will be given about the problems arising between tourist guides and tourists, and related literature will be discussed
Week 7 - Theoretical
Information will be given about the problems arising between tourist guides and shopkeepers/salesclerks/peddlers and related literature will be discussed
Week 8 - Theoretical
Information will be given about the problems arising between tourist guides and tour leaders/ bus drivers and related studies will be discussed
