The objective of the Industrial Sociology course is to examine the structure and functioning of industrial societies from a sociological perspective. This course enables students to understand the social context of industrial relations, workplaces, and worker-employer dynamics. Additionally, it aims to analyze the interaction between industry and society, the social impacts of industrial changes, and the social organization of work.
The Industrial Sociology course covers topics such as the historical development of industrial societies, the formation of the working class, and the sociological analysis of worker-employer relations. The course focuses on the structure of industrial organizations, the socialization of work, labor movements, unions, and the sociological dimensions of industrial conflicts. It also examines the impact of technological changes and globalization on work and society. Students will have the opportunity to deeply understand the relationship between industry and society using sociological theories and methods.
