Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about basic mathematical concepts and to convey the application of mathematics in business and economics.

Course Content

Functions, linear and nonlinear functions, limits, derivatives, integrals, and the applications of these topics in business and economics.

1.Define and explain mathematical terminology and basic concepts (functions, matrices, derivatives, integrals, etc.).
2.Represent business and economic problems using mathematical models (systems of equations etc.).
3.Develop the ability to solve complex problems through analytical thinking.
4.Gain the ability to analyze and interpret data using mathematical methods.
5.Perform cost-benefit analysis and profitability analysis using mathematical methods.
6.Develop critical thinking skills to create innovative solutions to problems using various mathematical methods.
