Objectives of the Course

xamining the necessary examinations in terms of written, visual and audio media within the scope of the general principles of mass communication law and the protection of copyright within the scope of the general principles of internet law; It is aimed to address all these issues in terms of criminal law.

Course Content

While examining the normative foundations of mass media law at the constitutional and legal level and the legal regulations related to written, audiovisual and electronic press activities constitute the main content of the course, special attention is paid to the determination of legal and criminal liability arising from internet broadcasts.

1.Explain the fundamental concepts of mass communication law and its place within the media system.
2.Identify the basic legal regulations governing the press, radio, television, and digital media
3.Evaluate the balance between freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and personality rights.
4.Explain, through examples, issues such as unlawful media content, censorship, and the right of reply and correction.
5.Recognize the legal responsibilities associated with the use of mass media and their relationship to ethical principles.
