To develop students’ oral communication, effective speaking and presentation skills, and to enable them to express themselves clearly, coherently, persuasively and confidently in academic, professional and social settings.
Oral communication, diction, body language, voice use, effective listening, public speaking, presentation preparation, use of visual materials, persuasive speaking, anxiety control and individual presentation practices.
| 1. | Explain the basic concepts related to oral communication, effective speaking and presentation techniques. |
| 2. | Apply diction, articulation, emphasis, intonation and proper breathing techniques in oral expression. |
| 3. | Use nonverbal communication elements such as body language, gestures, facial expressions, posture and eye contact effectively. |
| 4. | Manage public speaking anxiety and express themselves clearly, coherently and comprehensibly. |
| 5. | Prepare a presentation plan appropriate to the purpose of the presentation, target audience and subject. |
