Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to define the dynamics, components and tools of "Social Change" with historical examples and to enable students to critically evaluate the events involved in the daily "Social Change" from the past through analysis and synthesis.

Course Content

The course examines the dynamics, components and tools of "Social Change" by theoretically and by example; macro and socio-cultural, political and economic dynamics of the creation of the 21st century urban world, the modern world system and the future society with planned changes.

1.Will be able to explain basic concepts and terms of sociology.
2.Student will be able to identify the dynamics, components and tools of Social Change by exemplifying them.
3.They will be able to analyze developments in social change in a causal relation and comparatively.
4.He will be able to criticize the dynamics of the modern world in a comparative way, with historical examples.
5.Will be able to interpret the effects of globalization on social change.
