Objectives of the Course

In this course content, the concept and components of the environment, the public theory of the stakeholders and the cumulative media printing that they will be exposed will be learned. Crisis situations created by the pressures of the environment will be analyzed and effective strategies and practices related to the people will be understood against these conditions.

Course Content

In the theories of peoples' relations, the examination of the crisis situation in the context of the stages, the processing of the related literature and the analysis of case studies will be made to understand the practical theoretical knowledge. In addition, as a practitioner, the methods of coping with the crisis will be internalized.

2.Analyzes the relationship and differences between crisis communication and crisis management.
3.Compares major crisis communication theories and applies them to case studies.
4.Designs a crisis communication plan and applies preventive and response strategies.
5.Manages crisis processes in digital and social media environments and analyzes media discourses.
6.Applies the principles of transparency and trust in stakeholder communication during crises.
7.Develops post-crisis reputation repair and rebuilding strategies.
8.Acts in accordance with ethical, legal, and social responsibility principles in crisis communication processes.
