Objectives of the Course

It is to grasp the relation between politics and communication to the students. In this context, concepts of politics, communication, political communication will be explained in the light of Political Science and Political History.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to the course are explained. In addition, media and politics are shown to students. For politicians, it will be pointed out how important the media is and how they use the media for their own interests. In this context, the philosophy of political communication will be explained. In addition, political campaigns conducted during election periods and daily political communication conducted during non-election periods will be shown. The similarities and differences between them will be mentioned.
