Objectives of the Course

To gain proficiency in radio and podcast program production.

Course Content

The content of the course is to suggest a program within the framework of the program types determined on the podcast and radio, to write the program text, to voice the text and to make the program ready for broadcast by editing.

Technical equipment and voice features on radio and podcast broadcasting
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Basic materials used in radio and podcast program production: Human voice, music and sound effects.
Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice
Radio ve podcast program types: News, drama, education, culture-art, documentary, entertainment and music, magazine, sports, promotion and advertising.
Week 6 - Theoretical & Practice
Programming stages in Radio and podcast (Research, Suggestion, Planning, Text Writing, Proofing, Voice Recording, Editing, Timing, Control, Broadcasting).
Week 7 - Theoretical & Practice
Interview and voice acting in radio and podcast programming.
Week 8 - Theoretical & Practice
Preparing program proposal on radio and podcast. Midterm
