It is aimed to define the components of change in world cinema after 1980 within the framework of regions and countries and to reveal the relation between them with a critical approach.
It is the course that different country cinemas are described in a specific historical line and the directors and films which representing these cinemas are analyzed.
| 1. | Explain the tendencies in the fields of production, distribution and screening in today’s world cinema. |
| 2. | Interpret and evaluate different country cinemas in the context of social and historical background |
| 3. | Interpret the representations about social identity, race, class and sexuality in the cinema of different geographies |
