Objectives of the Course

The course identifies the audience in the media from the beginning of the communication studies, determines the role and position of the audience, and focuses on audience-oriented studies.

Course Content

It is of central importance to understand how the audience is understood and examined in communication research. Qualitative and quantitative audience research is the main subject of the course. The aim of this course is to examine the methods and critics of audience researches based on the leading audience researches of the Cultural Studies School.
