Aydın Faculty of Economics was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 15/06/2011 and numbered 2011/2018, according to the additional article 30 of the Law No: 2089 dated 28/03/1983. Aydın Faculty of Economics, which started education with the Department of Economics and Finance in the 2013-2014 academic year, enrolled its first students in the Department of Public Finance in the 2016-2017 academic year.
The Department of Public Finance, which provides education at both undergraduate and graduate levels, has an education program equipped with disciplines such as economics, law and public administration, as well as courses that include financial issues established in our country and in theory. For this reason, our students have the opportunity to benefit from both public and private sector job opportunities thanks to the equipment they obtain. Graduates of our department work in various fields such as Tax Inspection, Revenue Specialist, Commissioner of Audits, Customs Consultant, Financial Advisory and District Governorship.
The education period of our department is 4 years, and education continues as formal and evening education. The language of education in our department is Turkish.
History
Launched in 2013-2014 academic year with Economics and Finance, Faculty of Economics is keeping teaching process with normal and evening education (two classes of each) in above mentioned department.
Mission
The main aim of the Department of Public Finance is to train finance and financial experts to all banks and financial institutions and government agencies.
Vision
The vision of The Department of Public Finance is to train experts who are capable of being manager, consultant and trainers in public and private industries, stock markets, banking, insurance and international institutions.
Purpose
Dominate the area of public finance, train experts with sufficient knowledge to work in any position of financial institutions.
Physical Infrastructure
2 post-graduate classroom, in each of them a computer and projector.
Technical Infrastructure
2 multimedia classroom, 1 computer lab, campus library.
