Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach the concept of logistics cost which is one of the important elements of pricing and procurement process and to enable students to perform efficiency / cost analysis

Course Content

Logistics costs and accounting, classification of costs, distribution of full cost and cost expenditures, head-to-head analysis, variable costing system, responsibility accounting and transfer pricing method, ordering costing system, standard costing system, activity based costing system, budgeting, cost analysis and pricing decisions ,

1. He/she will be able to describe main foreign trade terminology
2.He/she will be able to define payment, transportation and delivery terms according to exporting-importing procedure specifications, to give an offer, and to understand the importance and the meaning of risk management
3.He/she will know the ways of opening to the international markets, marketing research and gain the talent of application, and learn rules of correspondance
4.To be able to compare the financing methods of foreign trade.
5.To be able to analyze payment methods in foreign trade comparatively.

Weekly Detailed Course Contents
Week 1 - Theoretical
Introduction to the international (foreign) trade, general concepts, what is foreign market How to make marketing survey according to the product What is the international marketing concept Description of the foreign trade according to the sectors.
Week 2 - Theoretical
The regulation of exportation and importation, regulation of custom and exchange, inward and outward processing regimes and applications, Custom Union and related applications, VAT refunds and exemptions. What are free zones
Week 3 - Theoretical
Operational Foreign Trade: The start and continuation of foreign trade relationships, having and giving offer / working chart, preparation of proforma invoice and invoice, transportation and delivery in foreign trade and the examination of documents
Week 4 - Theoretical
Operational Foreign Trade (continued): delivery terms, payment terms (Incoterms), bank procedures, the concept of transit trade and application in foreign trade. Product classification, custom procedures, statements, taxes and quotes

Documents of foreign trade, the concept of foreign trade document and its international and financial importance
