Objectives of the Course

The purpose of the Human Resource Management course is to help students understand the strategic role of human resources in organizations. Within this course, students learn core HR functions such as recruitment, selection, training, performance appraisal, compensation, and employee retention. The impact of diversity, ethics, legal frameworks, and technological developments on HR management is analyzed. Participants gain the ability to conduct strategic HR planning and develop policies aligned with overall organizational strategy. Ultimately, students comprehend the critical importance of human resource management for sustainable success in modern enterprises.

Course Content

The Human Resource Management course aims to provide students with an understanding of the daily operations and strategic role of HR in organizations. The initial sections cover the definition of HR, its responsibilities, and core functions such as staffing, training, compensation, and employee retention. The course then focuses on developing workplace policies, dealing with employment laws, worker protection, and communication processes. Diversity, multiculturalism, ethics, and the impact of a changing workforce are analyzed in detail. Strategic HR planning is emphasized, using tools like SWOT and PESTEL to align HR policies with overall organizational strategies. Finally, topics such as selection processes, performance appraisal, and compensation systems highlight the contribution of modern HRM to sustainable organizational success.
