Objectives of the Course

1. Understanding international human rights protection system, 2. Ponder upon the further promotion and protection of human rights, 3. Assist students’ carreer advancement in the field of implementation of international human rights law in national jurisdiction.

Course Content

The meaning and history of human rights, Human Rights Theory, International Human Rights Monitoring Systems, How to Prepare Applications to European Court of Human Rights, Precedents of the European Court of Human Rights, prohibition of discrimination, right to equality, freedom of expression, freedom association, religious freedoms, electoral rights, minority rights, Human Rights in the EU
