Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to provide students with the structure of reverse logistics systems, product recovery strategies, and closed loop supply chain management. It is aimed that students gain the ability to design environmentally sensitive and economically efficient logistics operations by analyzing waste management, recycling processes, and sustainability practices.

Course Content

This course begins with the concept of reverse logistics and sustainability principles. Operational stages such as product return processes, recovery, remanufacturing, and waste disposal in businesses are examined in detail. In the following weeks, closed loop supply chain design, green logistics applications, and environmental legal regulations are discussed. In the final parts of the course, management of packaging waste, circular economy models, and the role of digital technologies in reverse logistics processes are debated to offer students a holistic vision of environment and efficiency.
