Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to transfer the structural dynamics operational processes and legal legislations of national and international road transportation to students. It is aimed that students gain the competence to make strategic logistics decisions that will ensure route planning fleet management and cost optimization in the road supply chain.

Course Content

This course begins with the basic principles of road transportation and its place within logistics systems. Operational stages such as vehicle selection fleet management and load planning are examined in detail. In the following weeks national and international regulations in road transportation CMR convention border crossing procedures and route optimization are discussed. In the final parts of the course digitalization in road logistics telematics systems and sustainable green transportation applications are debated to develop a sectoral vision.
