Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with comprehensive information on international transport. The theoretical parts of this information include the definition of international road transport in general, its importance in terms of globalizing trade, relevant international organizations and conventions, the road transport sectors of the EU and Turkey, allocated transit and UBAK documents. In addition, TIR tracking systems used by international road haulage companies operating in the region during the lesson hours will be examined, UND TIR Park will be visited and the operations there will be monitored. Within the scope of multiple transportation modes, Çeşme Harbor will be visited. In the scope of the applied course, sample documents such as TIR carnets, CMR, customs declaration, driver visa applications will be prepared. This course therefore aims to enable students to gain hands-on experience in the international road haulage sector

To have knowledge about logistics sector and to learn the transportation methods used in this sector and to manage these transportation methods with the available resources in the best way
