Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to convey the fundamental principles regarding the effective and efficient initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects aimed at developing, improving, and innovating logistics business processes within organizations. Within the scope of the course, it aims to provide students with the ability to manage sectoral projects by offering a theoretical and practical roadmap within the framework of contemporary project management body of knowledge.

Course Content

The content of the course begins with the core concepts of project management and its strategic importance in the logistics sector, encompassing project life cycle structures within logistical organizations. Accordingly, within the framework of global standards, the knowledge areas of project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management are examined through a holistic approach based on theoretical principles and logistics industry applications.
