Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable pre-service teachers to recognize the measurement tools that used in educational field and know their properties and to identify types of evaluation and their purposes.

Course Content

Measurement tools used in education and their properties; traditional measurement tools: written exams, short answer exams, true-false type tests, multiple choice tests, paired tests, oral examinations; tools for multi-faceted recognition of students: projects, performance evaluation, student product file, observation, interview, research projects, peer review, self-assessment, attitude scales; points to be considered in the evaluation of student achievement; evaluation types and purpose; evaluation of learning outcomes and grading

6.Students will examine mathematics questions in international exams.
