Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to understand the social, cultural, moral and ethical aspects of the teaching profession by gaining knowledge about the basic concepts and theories of ethics and morality; to apply ethical principles in education and learning processes; to recognize ethical responsibilities in relations between educational stakeholders; to observe ethical rules in educational supervision and research and to develop solutions to unethical behaviors, ethical dilemmas and problems

Basic concepts and theories related to ethics and morality; Ethical principles, ethical rules, business and professional ethics/ethics; Social, cultural, moral and ethical aspects of the teaching profession; Education and the right to learn; Ethics in the process of education, teaching, learning and evaluation; Ethics in relations between educational stakeholders; Ethical responsibilities of education and school administrators, parents and students; Unethical behaviors, ethical dilemmas, problems and solutions; Ethics in educational supervision and educational research
