Objectives of the Course

This course contains content for the use of drama method in education. The course aims to raise students' awareness of how to benefit from creative drama studies in Turkish education. For this purpose, after emphasizing the development of the concept of theater and basic concepts related to the field of theater, improvisation and animation techniques will be examined in the course.

Course Content

Historical development of the concept of traditional theater. Basic concepts related to the field of theater. Animation techniques. Determinations and examinations for the language of the theater. Creative drama studies. Methods and ways of using these studies in Turkish education. Gamification techniques. Teaching game-education relationship.
