The aim of this course is for the student to understand the importance of using theory and models in nursing practice.
In this course, the history of nursing theories, the development process of nursing theories, theory, concept and model definitions, the importance of nursing theories for the nursing profession, nursing philosophy, the importance of using models in nursing practices, the characteristics of a theory, theoretical approaches in nursing practices are discussed.
