Objectives of the Course

This course is organized in order to provide the knowledge and skills that are needed in innovation and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship and innovation in nursing education is emphasized. Students innovation and entrepreneurship-related issues throughout the course examines trends.

Course Content

This course covers the fundamental concepts of innovation in nursing; the stages of the innovation process; innovative idea generation; design thinking; product and service development; and the implementation, evaluation, sustainability, and dissemination of innovations.

1.Explains the fundamental concepts of innovation in nursing and the stages of the innovation process.
2.Develops innovative solutions to problems encountered in nursing practice.
3.Plans the product or service development process by using creative and entrepreneurial thinking approaches.
4.Evaluates innovative practices developed in nursing in terms of feasibility, sustainability, and contribution to the quality of care.
5.Understands the processes of project preparation and development.
