Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire knowledge of the fundamental concepts, principles, and processes related to the management of nursing services and to develop their skills in leadership, decision-making, planning, organization, coordination, and supervision. The course also aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of nursing care by adopting approaches related to quality management, patient safety, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement in healthcare services.

Course Content

This course covers the principles of nursing management, professional responsibilities and legal regulations, as well as the processes of planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling. It also addresses leadership, communication, motivation, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict and time management, stress, burnout, job satisfaction, quality systems, performance evaluation, and change management.
