To provide the student with knowledge and skills about contraceptive methods, communication and counseling in order to provide family planning counseling to individuals with special conditions.
Reproductive Health and Status of Family Planning in Turkey, Communication and counseling in family planning services, evaluation of the applicant, modern family planning methods, provision of family planning services in special cases.
| 1. | To be able to clearify the situation and importance of the family planning in Türkiye and in the world in frame of family planning-related politics. |
| 2. | To be able to provide appropriate method getting history prior to the councelling, and to be able to evaluate the applicant inclusively with physical and laboratory examinations. |
| 3. | To be able to describe the councelling, to say its importance and aim, to recognize the contribution of councelling to family planning services and to explain the councelling tips (general, method specific and follow-up) and explain their characteristics. |
| 4. | To recognize the contribution of counseling to family planning services and to be able to explain the types of counseling (general, method-specific, and follow-up) and their characteristics. |
