Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to give information about the effects of fetal health on newborn health, evaluation, development and maintenance of newborn's health, knowledge about midwifery and applications.

General principles and approaches in the health diagnosis of the newborn, reflections of fetal health on newborn health, Factors affecting the health status of the newborn, Taking the health history of the newborn, Determination of the gestational age of the newborn, Physiological and developmental characteristics of the newborn, Evaluation of life findings and growth, System diagnostics (General appearance and skin, Head and neck, Lung and cardiovascular and abdominal, Genito-urinary, Neuromuscular, behavioral-sensory), Neonatal screenings and the role of midwife
