To provide knowledge of surgical diseases which have high frequency among pregnant women and to provide skills needed for caring, training and rehabilitation for those surgical patients
Fluid-electrolytes balance, hypovolemic shock, nursing care in pre, during and post-operation period, wound healing, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and muskuloskeletal system diseases.

| 1. | Explains the basic concepts of surgical care, physical examination methods, principles of asepsis, and care approaches for surgical infections |
| 2. | Evaluates findings related to fluid and electrolyte balance, shock, tissue injury, and wound healing in surgical patients. |
| 3. | Identifies the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care needs of surgical patients and describes appropriate care interventions |
| 4. | Analyzes the clinical findings of patients undergoing cardiac, breast, endocrine, and gastrointestinal surgery and determines care priorities. |
| 5. | Evaluates the care needs of patients in special surgical situations and those undergoing non-obstetric surgery during pregnancy and plans appropriate care to ensure patient safety. |
