Objectives of the Course

It means to understand neurological development.

Course Content

Nervous system structure and development, neurological evaluation, Neurometabolic / Norodegenerative Diseases, neuromuscular disease, Developmental evaluation and team work in Neurological Diseases, role of child developer.

1.Explains the structure, function and development of the nervous system.
2.Classify the developmental and neurological disorders and define the algorithm to approach motor and mental retardation,
3.Classify developmental and neurological disorders and describe the algorithm for approaching motor and mental retardation
4.Discusses the characteristics of neurological disorders
5.Explain the treatment approaches of neurological disorders with examples.
6.Defines common mental health problems and neurological comorbidity in childhood.
7.Explain the principles of developmental screening tests and psychometric evaluation, the tests used and their differences, principles and methods.
