Objectives of the Course

To teach the students to understand the impact of technology, internet and computer assissted instruction on development and education of children

Course Content

Definition of technology, development of technology from past to present and future, basic concepts related to technology, digital immigrant digital native concepts, the importance and benefits of technology, information and communication technologies used by children, social media tools, internet, internet usage rates, purposes and and research in Turkey, technology and facilities provided by the internet, when technology and the internet has been used appropriately damage and risks, the use of technological tools according to age groups (0-2 years, 3-6 years, 7-11 years, 12-18 years) use of technology and internet in social life and education, internet information reporting center and its use.
